Time Factory

Time Factory is a short experimental animation I made in my final year of university for a political film unit. I decided to use the modes of animation and archival footage to explore the relationships between time, labour, images, and manufacturing.

I acquired the archival footage from the Prelinger Archives, scouring films for images of clocks and of factory workers and so on. I composed and recorded the soundtrack with my friend Hannes Ulbricht, who played the drums.
